Victim Referrals from Thames Valley Police
Automatic transfer of victims contact details from Thames Valley Police
From 1 July 2025, all victims who have reported a crime to Thames Valley Police will be automatically referred to Victims First for the offer of support. This change to automatic referral is being made to ensure all victims rights are met under the Victims Code and that they have timely access to support.
A referral to Victims First means that you will be contacted by a member of our team with the offer of additional support. You will be contacted either by phone or by text message, depending on the crime you have experienced, All support provided by Victims First is free of charge. There is no obligation following a referral to take up the offer of support. You can also choose not to referred by informing the officer in charge of your case.
